"6th grader chosen for Region 20 Christmas card"

"The Brackett ISD Board of Trustees held a Regular Meeting on Monday, December 10, in the Central Office board room.

"Sixth Grader Hernan Talamantes, son of Jesus and Juanita Talamantes, was recognized for winning the Education Service Center (ESC), Region 20, first annual christmas card contest.

"Dr. Terry Smith, of ESC, Region 20, presented Talamantes with a certificate for winning first place.

"Grades 3 through 6 have been taking art classes taught by Intermediate Art Teacher Sandra Tate.

"Talamantes' art work will be featured on Region 20's 2007 Christmas card."
