Ms. Becky Ramotowski:

"Trio of objects will put on the year's best show"

Adapted from The San Antonio EXPRESS - NEWS, Monday, December 1, 2008.

"The moon, Venus and Jupiter are in conjunction today -- [they were, too!] the best sight of 2008.

"Gaze toward the southwest after sunset tonight [Monday] for the moon cozily perched near Venus and Jupiter.

"They make a tight trio and sit just left of the teapot shape of Sagittarius.

"Venus and Jupiter will rapidly move away from each other as the nights [plural!]progress, so keep an eye on them as the bright planet pair bid adieu.

"The lone moon says farewell to the parting duo and leaves them behind in its incessant quest to move on."
