On day four, at least these Green Jays are still visiting our little 'hood.


Flitting from the nearest palm tree.

To the nearest mesquite tree.

Then down to our backyard bird feeder.

To peck at Chicken Scratch & Sunflower Seeds.

Purchased from Kinney County Wool & Mohair.

At times giving voice to wild parrot - like cries.

Like maybe they really are from the Lower Rio Grande Valley, huh??!!

Or maybe even from nearby Rancho Campo del Gato.. :)
