No. 1:

Ankole - Watusi

"The Ankole - Watusi is an extremely heat - tolerant animal that's easily recognized by its broad - based and long horns.

"In North America, the breed is raised for beef, genetic conservation and the rodeo industry.

"East Africans prize the Ankole - Watusi for its milk, which contains 8 to 10 percent butterfat."

"Calving ease, disease resistance and ability to browse are among the breed's other traits."
