"The pony - tailed singer is Father Stan Fortuna, CFR.

"Father Stan or the priestly emcee as he calls himelf, is a member of a Franciscan order that hosts large charismatic conferences for young adults, and appears frequently at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, the center of Catholic pentecostalism in the U.S.

"A frequent speaker on the Theology of the Body, he even composed a crude song called The Zipper Zone which he sings for teenagers!

"I am 15 years old, a member of the age group that Father Stan targets.

"I find his novelties insulting and irreverent to Almighy God, as well as to all Catholics who are sold Father Stan's insipid music, and Vatican II praise.

"Just compare Father Stan's actions to those of his fellow Franciscan, St. Padre Pio, who was so reverent in offering of [sic] the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. .."

Most likely, if the writer isn't an adult "ringer," she (or he) has done some serious thinking!

I put my own knee - jerk opinion this way, because, as is all too often the case these days, while this super - conservative publication has a lot of good elements, brains -- editorially speaking -- aren't always among them! :)
