"On September 20 Buffalo Soldiers returned to Fort Clark after 65 years for the Last Tattoo.

"Trooper Ernest H. Collier of San Diego, California, E Troop 9th Cavalry. "(Trooper Collier's father also served at Fort Clark in 1899 with the 10th Cavalry).

"Trooper Henry T. Washington of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, 36th Quartermaster Pack Train.

"Trooper James G. Madison of Kansas City, Missouri, 10th Cavalry.

"Trooper Floyd L. Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada, Headquarters Troop 10th Cavalry.
"(Trooper Brown, at age 91, is the third oldest living Buffalo Soldier in the United States).

"Trooper Henri A. LeGendre of Charlotte, North Carolina, A Troop 9th Cavalry and headquarters Troop 2nd. Cavalry Division where he was secretary to the Commanding General."
