Three cheers for one - time UTEP Sophomore Business Major Ms. Denise Thompson & her "Dress for Success" colleagues!

'Cause they would have been proud of their thirty - six (36) ACTS Sisters here yesterday, just before the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

These resolute ladies lined up in double file outside St. Mary Magdalene's Catholic Parish in Brackettville, Texas, 78832 .

Each and every one with pride in her stride and professionally dressed for success.

You better believe it!

My personal guess, from what we heard from one unidentified local participant and personally observed, was that these good people, many from the ACTS H.Q. in Del Rio, have long - since adapted their own material from some original like the 2000 Life in the Spirit Team Training Manual ( I think that's what it's called!) so before the official Women's ACTS January 2009 Retreat kicks off, their team members will be good and ready.

Their operational time frame was roughly from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. inclusive.

At least 20 vehicles brought the participants here, and five (5) of those (or maybe even more) proudly displayed the ACTS emblem in white.

And they were free to use the Old Rectory Building, for sure, and maybe the Old Church Building building next door, as well.

My guess is they would have needed access to both for optimal results.

As to whether or not these ladies would have been forbidden -- openly or by some priest or deacon's song and dance routine -- to place a suitable crucifix in the Old Church Building is anyone's guess, given what seems to be the exercise of an occult power over our priests and deacons.

One, furthermore, that seems to have a most curious stranglehold on these our local clergy, reducing them all to the psychological equivalent of a groveling mass of silly putty, other wise free to bounce and bluster, hither and yon.

And while I'm pretty sure that the Dean of our Uvalde Deanery, Monsignor James Fischler has indeed lost almost 100% of any day by day control of our local clergy, the timely arrival yesterday morning of these tough, street - wise damas machetonas y valientes could, theoretically at least, be great news indeed!

By itself it could even be construed as a signal that he's been ordered by no less a personage than the Most Reverend José H. Gomez, Archbishop of San Antonio, to start at least going through some face saving motions of re - taking control of what both men have allowed to become an openly schismatic parish.

One which has its own indoor paper - trash burning mitotes and other neo - pagan demonic practices, related in turn to a strong ice cold hatred for Jesus Christ and even the permanent physical presence of His Cross in the Old Church Building.

In any case, I'm personally convinced that this upcoming Womens' ACTS Retreat is going to be a great success.

You bet! :)
