"Mr. Alex Muñoz received 944 votes in the 2009 Student Government Association presidential race, casting the majority over his run - off opponent Ms. Nicolette Eggemeyer, who received 739.

"Mr. Muñoz said, Now, the pressure of the elections is off, and I'm ready to work.

"The final word hasn't been said because the Supreme Court needs to hear two pending cases before he can assume the position."
