"Glenn Hockton, 19, who completed a seven - month tour of duty in Afghanistan with the British Cold -stream Guards, believes his Rosary saved him.

"While on patrol in the deadly Helmand province, his Rosary suddenly fell from his neck.

"When he bent down to pick up his Rosary, he realized he was standing on a landmine.

"He stood very still while other soldiers disarmed the landmine ... "
