"Meet our ACTS Retreat Volunteer Coordinator:

"Vicki McKeen
!"

Snippet from Today's Catholic. Friday, August 26, 2011.

"Vicki McKeen was born in a small West Texas town called Morton to Christian parents.

"They attended Baptist church and made sure that Vicki and her sisters were brought up in the church.

"Vicki moved to San Antonio in 1988 after traveling around the world as a military wife and mother.

"She has a daughter, Tiffini, who also lives in San Antonio.

"In April of 2005, Vicki attended her first ACTS retreat in Slaton, in the Lubbock Diocese.

"Even though she was not a Catholic she knew something had happened to her as a Christian: Little did I know what God had planned for me. (Jer 29:11)

"Vicki decided at that point to be a liaison to Protestants who attend this Catholic retreat.

"In order to accomplish this, she attended RCIA at St. Francis of Assisi, to learn about Catholicism.

"In May of 2008, she was confirmed in the church.

"Vicki now attends St. Francis of Assisi.

"She has been on the team for five retreats, three of which were ACTS Missions...

"Comment from Vicki:

"I hope God plans for me to be on many more teams and to help spread His word..."

Way to go, Vicki!
