Update!

Brief recap of the Kinney County, Texas zip 78832 -- "Friends of the Library" -- (mostly!) cash donations as "accounting issues!" :)

2009 -- $1,300 donated in cashier's draft and "officially acknowledged" by one Mrs. Sarah Terrazas, Library Executive Director.

2010 -- $1,200 cash donated and "officially acknowledged" -- again by Mrs. Sarah T.

2011 -- $1,500 cash donated and ...?? Who knows what happened! No "official acknowledgement!"

2012 -- $2,000 cash donated and ...??

2013 -- $1,200 cash donated through first of June and ...??

Thus: out of $7,200 total donations  in 4 1/2 years -- last $4,700 might as well have gone up in smoke!

Kinney County Auditor's Office notified by mail most likely Friday, June 21, 2013.

Enter First Response: Wednesday June 26, 2013 -- Senior Kinney County Executive Mrs. Martha Peña Padron -- comes to  have a quiet talk with Mrs. Sarah Terrazas -- around 9 am at the Library.


Enter Second Response: via written legal memorandum  Wednesday July 10, 2013 -- giving legal opinion by County Judge Tim Ward and County Auditor Carol Pettett, yeah! :)
