UTEP Dean of Students fed up with IT !!

"SGA to hold new presidential elections"

By Thalia I. Longoria, Editor in Chief, the UTEP Prospector, June 27, 2007.

Note:

Every since Mr. ART LONGORIA was cheated out of his rightful place in last year's (2006) UTEP Student Government Association elections, things have gone from bad to worse, or so it seems!

"Three months after the 2o07 Student Government Association elections began, the presidential position is still up for grabs.

"The four candidates that ran for president in March could be the only choices for the upcoming election, or the new senate could choose to add more people to the ballot."

Finally, after further discussion of a variety of election issues:

"UTEP's Information Technology (IT) may no longer take part in SGA elections, Dean of Students Julie Wong said.

"Whether you like the people running it or not, that (SGA) is where students go to voice their concerns, Wong said.

"Not having an SGA -- that would be crazy."
