"UTEP criminal justice faculty slain by husband"

"On July 1, Joni Arnett Eastman [26], lecturer in the criminal justice departement, was shot to death.

"The El Paso Police Department confirmed that her husband, 49 - year - old Walter Eastman, committed the murder before killing himself in the couple's West Side home.

"Dr. Eastman had a successful dentistry practice in North East El Paso and the couple had two small children."
