Proof: Here's where a Minnesota bishop's aging in - house proponent of New Age Catholic Lite desperately strives to wow Fort Clark Springs' over 60 kum ba ya crowd with his own "translation" of this fragment of the Catholic Church's teaching in CCC 2030 -- making it read in a sort of vague gnostic drivel:

"Here Mary and the saints bear witness to wisdom."

Liz puts the disputed phrase in it proper theological context (Yeah I know, Liz, but you see: you just ain't got no typos this time around, so we HAVE to go with theological controversies!).

'Cause Liz uses the real - deal Roman Catholic Church's original fragment here, from CCC 2030 in her commentary on the first page of "What Does God Want?"

"From the Church he [the Christian] learns the example of holiness and recognizes its model and source in the all holy Virgin Mary;...."

So, yeah, by and large it's a cool thing that she dropped by everybody's house Tuesday evening and gave us all a chance to do some advanced commentary of our own.
