"Nominated by Tracy King, she had been selected as one of only 350 high school juniors from across Texas to be part of High School Aerospace Scholars.

"They worked to complete 10 Web - based assignments during the school year.

"They applied what they learned during the year, and this was part of the challenge for them to work as part of a team to design a mission to Mars."
