Texas Desert, Cactus & Mesquite - variety Porcupines on the march?!

Well, says yours truly:

"Based on the dead ones we saw along Highway 90 inbound to San Antonio, Monday a.m. November 3, 2008, roughly between Cline Check Point and Sabinal, you bet!"

Don reports he saw a big fat porcupine, like maybe 2 to 4 feet long -- big, slow, and wide -- waddling across Scales Road this morning in Fort Clark Springs, Texas, a jumping underrated resort, itself within easy commuting distance of Brackettville, even for those of us whose mobility impairment issues compel us to either a) ride a bicycle or b) to walk.
