St. Mary Magdalene's Parish Festival 2009 is NOW history!

So how do we know already how we did $$$$ - wise?

Seriously, we ambled by St. Mary Magdalene's somewhere between 1:45 p.m. the first time. it looked like maybe 20% to 30% fewer cars in evidence then we had at last year's Parish Festival.

Then, hours later, at around 6:50 p.m., we made yet another amble - on - by.

Folks, we're talking maybe at the most, 1 and 1/2 hours after the official closing time.

Outside Father Pius -- plus his own car parked where it naturally belonged -- there wasn't a soul in sight.

No working parties, trash details, cars of both Parish Festival Committee and Finance Committee personnel parked -- where they should have still been parked! -- adjacent to the rectory, no overlooked trash period; no trace of anything left undone.

Zip!

¡Nada!

¡Ni nadie!
