Is there an inherent futility in "praying away the gay?"


Former atheist lesbian Melinda Selmys illustrates her problem of credibility with the LBGTQ community, as she tries to bring them Christianity, with what she shrewdly surmises is a typical lesbian response to her own personal message:

"Well, she was probably just bisexual in the first place.

"It's not possible for me to change -- but if people listen to what she has to say, they're going to think I just didn't try hard enough..."
