For males only? :)

"The Joy of Midlife"

By Michael J. Rayes of The Latin Mass magazine, Christmas 2012.

He is the author of 28 Days to Better Behavior.

"We hear much about the midlife crisis.

"This is when American men reach their 40s and 50s and begin to regret what they missed in life so far.

"They pine for their evaporated youth.

"Typically, the stereotype of this phase of life involves sports cars, adultery and career changes.

"What men need are goals, self - respect, and a solid, loving relationship  with their Creator.

"CHOOSING JOY

"God gives us joy but does not promise us happiness in this life.

"Sometimes you may simply have to choose to be joyful rather than relying on external circumstances.

"The mature Christian transcends statements such as he made me angry or she makes me happy.

"This transcendent, self - controlled inner joy takes time to develop..."

NEVERTHELESS!

"Those in midlife are oftentimes ready for this message because they already have decades of experience dealing with externals and realizing that only God can give true peace.

"In your life to this point, you worked for your daily bread and built a family.

"Now, you can realize the importance of peace with God and peace in your other relationships ..."

Way to go, SeƱor! :)
