"Appointed pastor of holy Redeemer Parish in San Antonio, effective April 15, for a six - year period.

"His most recent assignment was as pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville, Mo., from 1993 to 2007.

"He attended the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University from 1989 - 1991 and served as deacons [sic] at Cure d'Ars Parish (African - American parish) in Denver in his last year of theological studies."
