"After Biden win, bishops rethink document"
Adapted from this original source: an article with the same name as cited above by one Daniel Burke, Religious News Service, in the San Antonio EXPRESS - NEWS, Saturday, November 8, 2008.
Sub - headlines / titulares:
"Catholic view on abortion is in direct contrast with Vice President - elect's"
What I find both edifying and encouraging about the rest of this otherwise horribly edited article is that it at least draws up the battle lines between Catholic bishops loyal to Rome and those committed to the New Age American Catholic Revolutionaries with a certain clarity:
First the bad news:
If what he seems to be telling us is true, then out of 220 Catholic bishops here in America, barely 50 believe in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Now the good news:
As nearly 2,000 years of history as shown us, you only need one (1) Catholic bishop who still believes in Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior to get the job done, and in our own country's case, restore real - deal Catholic Christianity to a national level in barely ten (10) short years!
Such is the power of the Holy Spirit! :)
Ha, ha, HA!
"So, just how does he tell us all this, then?"
This is how:
He tells us that one of those 50 bishops who believe in Jesus Christ is Bishop Robert Finn of Kansas City -- St. Joseph Missouri.
And he is quoted as saying that voters should indeed be careful in deciding to support with their votes politicians who favor abortion because, as this Jesus Christ - believing bishop tells us:
"[E]ternal salvation is tied up with that important choice."
That's right!
Take it or leave it!
Heaven.
Or Hell.
For all eternity.
And we, each and every one of us, makes the final call!
Can't none of us expect Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior to let us off on either Judgment Day, or that frightening hour of our own personal death known as our Particular Judgment, by our trying to blame Cardinal Snake, Bishop Flake, Father Fake, nor much less Deacons Shake and Bake!
