"On Dec. 13, UTEP will conduct its 121st commencement ceremony at at the Don Haskins Center to acknowledge 1,806 candidates for graduation -- compared to 1,650 last December.

"Due to the increase in the number of graduates, commencement will be divided into three ceremonies to ensure that each student is properly recognized."


FACTS: These lucky -- and most certainly deserving folks !!-- represent two (2) separate and distinct demographic components.

(1) They either represent individually and collectively the estimated 4.75% of undergraduates who completed the necessary requirements for their bachelor's degree at UTEP within four (4) years.

Or,

(2) They represent individually and collectively the the estimated 27% of UTEP undergraduates who completed the same identical undergraduate degree work in six (6) years.
