All Early Bird pledges to the 2010 Archbishop's Appeal ideally should be in multiples of $1,000 -- and up! :)
This should likewise help our good archbishop in his theological cogitations!
So, who knows?
Maybe our St. Mary Magdalene's Acts 2:16 Parish Academy will indeed be open -- by late August 2011, huh? :)
Like:
28 St. MM households sacrificing @ a rate of $125.00 per month each in regular contributions can lever one h*l*l of a lot of $$$ lana...
Anyway!
A textbook Early Bird pledge example follows:

"Hello!
"First off, we've yet to get the tax statement promised by your office months ago. Hopefully, it's in the mail! :)
"2010 - Archbishop's Appeal
"And so, using last year's figure of $3,505 as a base for our contribution [to] this year's 2010 Archbishop's Appeal, here's our pledge:
"70% of $3,505 = $2,453.50 for our total 2010 Archbishop's Appeal pledge.
"Thus, the amount hereby enclosed for January, 2010, as paid to the pledge should be: $453.50.
"Thanks everybody, Happy New Years, Merry Christmas and let this year's drive have some real $$$ muscle in it! :)
"Thanks!
"Scribble scribble..."
Note: This $453.50 was sent as a Brackettville Bank & Trust money order, number 563645.
This figure represents around 18.65% +/- of the actual face value of our pledge.
