"Dressing professionally and making a good impression could be the first step to becoming a potential candidate for a job.

"Betsy Castro - Duarte, associate director of the University Career Center said, Always avoid dresses, pants are o.k. but skirts are the best for a professional outfit.

"[S]aid Lillian Calderon, freshman psychology major: For us women, it is more difficult to choose the perfect combination of clothes. It becomes more complicated when it's a really important occasion like a job interview.

"[S]aid Miguel Serrato, sophomore civil engineering major: Everyone has a suit, so it's not a problem, but for an interview I think we take more care about our appearance ... "
