"When most students think of the Union Building, that hub of student life, they can't help but automatically associate certain words with it, like lunch, hanging out and the bookstore.

"By the end of next semester, the University Bookstore will have nothing to do with the Union Building.

"It will move to a new location on the corner of University Avenue and Sun Bowl Drive in late spring 2009.

"A group of students and administrators, including UTEP Vice President for Student Affairs Mr. Richard Padilla, are currently discussing as to what should take the space the University Bookstore now occupies.

"In reference to the speculation that the UTEP Student Health Center will move into that space, Mr. Pacheco said it is a possibiity.."
