In Girls XC in Carrizo Springs, Oct. 4, Ms. Icela Rueda placed 7th, with a time of 12:41, all for BHS.

Meanwhile, in track and field, Ms. Icela Rueda placed 11th, with a time of 15:32 in the BHS varsity girls' cross country at Nueces Canyon, Sept. 27, and, we read, "Leading the Varsity boys" at Carrizo Springs was Spofford's St. Blaze's Youth Group member Mr. Joelson Terrazas, who fought for BHS by placing 35th with a time of 19:43.
