"Is somebody really do'in it on the UTEP Level I ENRON-style Shadow Payroll? "

Get a load of this:

2006-2007 UTEP Budget

UTEP Account Number 14-6593-03:

The University of Texas at El Paso Collaborative for Academic Excellence

M. SUSANA NAVARRO DIRECTOR.

2006-2007 Budget Code -- EXPENSES

$64,984 2c Faculty Salary Reserve Account Number 14-6593-0341
$50,000 4e Other Operating Expenses Acct Number 14-6593-0351

$114,984 Total Budgeted Expenses

Testimony of M. Susana Navarro, Ph.D.

Executive Director, El Paso Collaborative for Academic Excellence

Before the U.S. House of Representatives
Committee on Science
Research Subcommittee

October 31, 2003

Greeting and Overview

"Mr. Chairman, Ranking Member Johnson, and members of the Committee, I am pleased to be here today to share with you the work of the National Science Foundation-supported El Paso Math/Science Partnership (MSP), and the opportunities that it provides for students across El Paso."

And so on for approximately ten well-reasoned and quite frankly impressive pages.

Problem: This is just a little over two(2) months from the time she went into the REVOCABLE TRUST real estate maneuver we've outlined below.

Thus:

Whose wrath, if anyone's, did this testimony of M. Susana Navarro stir up?

And are the UTEP budget pages for 2006-2007 being deliberately slanted to make it seem she really has taken a $53,000 a year cut in salary?

Or, ENRON of Texas-like, is this a deliberate attempt to throw casual State Auditors off the track, the better to cover-up some massive scam?
