"Just this morning, I was struck with the similarity I seemed to find with this truly heroic epic to Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Before turning it back in here at the UTEP library, I was intending to mention that in particular. Because General Roméo Dallaire recounts a heroic epic dealing with the efforts of a truly international band of knights and brothers-in-arms of well-nigh all religions and ethnic backgrounds under the command of a charismatic French-speaking general to help stave off an impending massacre of 800,000 people.
